Oh, and coaches DO enforce the myth that homosexuality is incompatible with team sports. As just one example, here is the story of Penn State basketball coach Rene Portland, whose 'no drinking, no drugs, no lesbians' policy became the subject of a lawsuit and nationwide protests. That article has no date. How ridiculous is that? I had to use Google to find more information (why didn't you provide it?), as just as I suspected, it seems that this is about seven years old. I'm talking about NOW, not seven years ago. As for the rest of what you wrote, it seems to be either quite old information and/or is about professional sports. The conversation you jumped into has to do with young boys and girls being told by coaches that homosexuality is incompatible with team sports. And so I asked "Why would they tell them that homosexuality is incompatible with team sports?" We're talking about TODAY. |
