An eruv is a boundary structure constructed by an Orthodox community. With most eruvs, some incorporation of municipal or utility structures are needed to complete it. And that, my friend, is when you violate the separation of Church/Synagogue and State! Let us Christians have our temporary Nativity scene on public land and you can have you permanent eruv. Fair enough? |
