They cost almost as much as a private policy (which runs $1700./month in much of NY but does not cover pre-existing conditions if they'll sell it...my experience) due to their limited revenue scope. That is financially punishing when such is not ethical nor reasonable. Pre-existing condition coverage is ONLY reasonable when spread through the entire population. Period.You clearly know nothing about insurance. Not that you need to care, you have, affordably. |
