Instead of fighting fare increases, the TWU should be fighting for a fair contract for its members. Instead of protesting about people being searched for illegal weapons, the TWU should be more worried about the safety of its members who are less likely to be carrying said illegal guns. Remember when the TWU would get rid of the unsafe fuck-ups?Or endorsing Obama in May, months before the election, without getting a contract first. No one has any respect for TWU workers anymore. Sad, because TWU workers do so much to keep NY moving. People now laugh at transit workers. |
