The name "American Airlines" is unlikely to disappear, as it is known worldwide.If US Airways does acquire them, they will probably drop the name US Airways and keep the AA moniker. US Airways is actually the old America West Airlines. America West bought US Airways but chose to keep the US Airways name. |
