The state law giving the state the power to enforce a law which the feds have supremacy on was invalidated. The laws still criminalizing said behavior still exists, it's just federal, not state.And the state has nothing to say about it if the state feels the federal government isn't doing enough to stop it. We're back to the pre-SB 1070 status quo, except it's clarified that there can't be another SB 1070. Also, being in the county illegally isn't a crime. |
