Which is interesting, if you monitor your speed when going along with traffic, it is usually at 40mph. Unless it's a Manhattan Ave where they have the synched signals which actually promote mobility.

From my observations, sometimes out of sequence signals cause speeding as drivers don't like getting perpetually caught at red lights so they speed up to get through as many as possible.
