Poking around the Social Security site a bit more, you can check out the popularity of a name over time.Eric was the 93rd most popular boy's name in 1951. It steadily increased in popularity to 25th in 1966 and ultimately 13th in each year from 1973 to 1976. Since 1976 it has steadily become less popular, and was the 103rd most common boy name in 2011. |
