There is no such thing as a "Judeo-Christian background."

They came from Western Culture all right, but that is not the same as Christian Culture even if they overlap.

Orthodox=Christian, not western
Greek and Roman=Western, not Christian

Do you think that America bears more resemblance to the Roman Republic or to the Byzantine Empire?
