Might help to remind everyone that I am not, nor have I ever been, a democrat. I'm "not enrolled" officially. I *used* to be a republican.

While I understand that you probably need to "keep the peace" because of where you work, my reason for arguing with him over the years is that he ascribes to a philosophy that government is evil, and cannot ever work. But there he was, doing exactly what he complains about for a living, biting the hands of others who dutifully perform "the people's duties" like I did for 14 years of my own life. I believe that most in government do a fine job DESPITE the politicians that keep insisting that rocks float. But he attacks all levels of government in his partisan way.

Then there's his other bit of hypocrisy - constantly pissing and moaning about the likes of Sharpton and others playing "the race card" which is why I constantly tewak his nose about playing "the antisemite card" ... my ass goes up in the air whenever I hear someone bitching about things that they themselves are deeper in than those they complain and whine about.

That all said, agree ... moo.
