HOW then is such a belief sensible?It's an innate part of the human condition for most people to believe that something will happen to them and others after death. Just like hunger, lust and want. A human need, in other words. The main difference between the smart and the simpletons is when this otherwise pleasurable aspiration degrades into superstition, fairy tales and an irrational rejection of proven science. |
