The question of whether or not Congress can regulate commerce was brought up by the RW. It wasn't a question to anyone else. ACA is a victim of RW hate.There wa sa lot of opposition to the Massachusetts plan when first proposed. Then Willard made everyone buy insurance. Once tweaked by Gov Patrick, everyone's pretty damn happy with it there. The majority far and away, was untouched as they already had insuracne through their employers. The primary drawback one state is seeing is the inability to control costs which is in Federal hands. ACA is set up to do that. |
