Some Superman movie should have had Brainiac as the villian. (Superman III anyone?).Brainiac was originally to be the villain in Superman III. Indeed Nolan and crew toyed around with having Lex Luthor and Brainiac as the villains in this upcoming film, but apparently they decided to go with Zod. They do have Faora this time, who Ursa was based on. I don't know why they bothered to rename her in Superman II, maybe they figured "Faora" was too hard to pronounce? If Man of Steel does well enough to have a sequel, I think Lex Luthor will definitely have to show, and perhaps Brainiac or even Darkseid. |
