Ever wonder why the BIG "financial thing" now is "intellectual property" such as patents? Them's "ROYALTIES" ... excludable as "income" and taxed at a VERY low rate. Same for cap gains ... it's not the RATE, it's the EXCLUSIONS that make the effective rate ... nothing! |
