FTR, Obama didn't get an invite to Quinn's wedding because Gov. Cuomo, Mayor Bloomberg, both NY Senators, and dozens of pols from all over NYC and The People's Republic of Albany were all there. NYPD Commish Ray Kelly--ironically a possible GOP challenger to Quinn in next year's mayoral race--was also present. Adding Secret Service-level security to that of the NYPD, State Police, and DPG, would have delayed the actual start of the wedding far into the night...just sayin'... |
