We are talking TOTAL bill. Add all your items together, and the TOTAL then comes up. That final tally is then rounded to the nearest 5 cents.Sales tax is not calculated on each item before tally, sales tax is done on the TOTAL tally after everything is all added up, THEN sales tax is applied. There is no way to price items to play with that total, as you will never know how many items of a certain item will be bought, as well as mixed with other items to come up with the total. |
