"No evidence he did anything illegal"?Do I really have to go through this again? Zimmerman: Despite being told NOT to follow Trayvon, or exit his vehicle, this untrained, unstable individual got out of his car, armed with a gun, and accosted Trayvon, who was breaking no law, and walking exactly where he was supposed to be. Chased Trayvon on foot, (consider that the 17-year-old Trayvon had every legitimate reason to run from this strange adult male, who was pursuing him for God knows what reason), and engaged in a physical altercation with the boy, one of Zimmerman's own making. Used extreme, point-blank, deadly force to shoot and kill Trayvon Martin, after taking matters into his own hands, rather than waiting for the professionals he himself summoned to handle the situation. I wholehearetedly agree with the prosecutor, that the elements for second-degree murder are present in this case. |
