But I can imagine that maybe Zimmerman grabbed Trayvon's jacket and Trayvon reacted by punching Zimmerman. An overreaction, but teenagers do that kind of thing.To me, Zimmerman's real failing is that he was recklessly overconfident and willing to stir up trouble (in what he thought was a good cause, though it wasn't) because he knew he was armed. He didn't give proper thought to the consequences of his actions. If he hadn't been armed there never would have been a fist fight. He wouldn't have dared start anything with someone he thought was a dangerous punk otherwise. |
