So were The Vet in Philly (2 ASG's in 33 seasons) and Three Rivers in Pittsburgh (2 ASG's in 30 seasons). It was more the Doubleday/Wilpon ownership of the 80's not seeing it as a priority.Planning the next several years of ASG's will be hard to do with a massive NL glut of parks: Washington, Miami, Cincinnati, San Diego, and Philadelphia all have new-ish parks while the AL only has Minnesota on the table. |
