Bad science has been a hallmark of humanity since ... well ... forever. Once upon a time, it was believed that many diseases were caused by small toads. But yeah, DADT didn't make much sense at all - typical sweep it under the rug. They should have listened to Barry Goldwater back in the 80's, "You don't have to BE straight to fight for your country, you only have to SHOOT straight" ...During the early days of the "war on terror" we lost a farkload of good translators and analysts because some moron thought they were gay. And when shells are flying, everybody is straight. :) |
