There ARE disabilities requiring parking permits besides wheelchair confinement, y'know. Not all disabilities are visible.

I worked 51E2 long enough in the KG/Forest Hills area to see the placards on cars all over the place, but I still don't think the handicapped permits are being abused at all. The NYPD placards, now that's something else.
