Progressives. Minuscule in relation to the electorate, but powerful beyond their numbers within the party itself. Obama was told flat out that if he didn't end his public vacillation on the issue of same sex marriage a lot of money he badly needs would be held up. The man just spend 25% of his entire warchest on a massive television and radio campaign last week in many swing states with the assumption he could easily replace it. |
