IMO this will only hurt him with blue-collar voters, moderates and Catholics. Meanwhile the economy is floundering and Barack wastes political energy on an issue that really only matters to his shrinking base.He already has the votes of those who support SSM, where else are they going to go? Does smell panicky, maybe he just wants it out of the way. Helps Republicans because they haven't bet so much on an issue that matters to so few. |
