After years of Whitewater, dead Arkansas state troopers and a myriad of other tinfoil issues, republican henchman Ken Starr came up with nothing as to what the investigation was created for. But good old Newtie and his pals wanted Clinton badly and so this issue, which had nothing to do with what was being investigated made the political hay that they couldn't on all that tinfoil.Ah well ... between that and "wag the dog" forcing Clinton to back down and fight this instead of Al Qaeda and more pressing issues, we lost a few buildings a few years later but at least they got Clinton. Yay. :( |
