The "Obama-Biden" campaign has already been launched. If Obama were going to dump Biden, Biden would already have announced that he wanted to spend more time with his family. It can't be true; it was in the New York Times. "The cast of top advisers — a group limited to 10 in hopes of streamlining the meetings — offers a revealing look at the pecking order of the hierarchy in the Obama campaign. "Neither Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. nor any other cabinet members are on hand. Instead, the room is filled with a group of trusted confidants who were at Mr. Obama’s side during the last campaign." The only other references I can find are the Weekly Standard touting it as proof Biden is an outsider, and a bunch of right wing nutballs forwarding the Weekly Standard story as proof Biden is out in 2012. |
