You clearly don't understand why Netanyahu is calling early elections. It has nothing to do with an ascendant Israeli left wing, because the left wing parties that make up the opposition right now have been pretty irrelevant as of late. In fact, it is quite the opposite, he is calling elections because he and his government are popular, so they are trying to maximize on that popularity to be reelected. |
