Chances are the President would discuss the appointment in the context of what the person was capable of and allow them to do their job to demonstrate they are worthwhile despite a negative attitude.That's not what happened here. Once pressure came to bear WRT the guy being gay, and public about his favoring marriage equity, the campaign got all twitchy, and tried to force the guy out by dis-enabling him to do his job properly. They succeeded, and now have *nobody* that has a foreign policy clue. |
