Where does he get off implying that Romney wouldn't have done the same thing?

Obama referenced his somewhat famous quip at a debate in 2007 that if, given the opportunity and with "actionable intelligence," he would commit US troops to go inside Pakistan and kill bin Laden, a comment that provoked all sorts of wrath from both Democrats and Republicans running for president at the time, including Romney, who said then that "It’s not worth moving heaven and earth spending billions of dollars just trying to catch one person." In a debate he said was more specific in criticizing Obama for the reference to Pakistan:

"It’s wrong for a person running for president of the United States to get on TV and say we’re going to go into your country unilaterally.
