I strongly disagree. Except for an occasional commercial on the regular radio stations promoting it, it's very rarely mentioned. And while some new cars have HD radio included, the programming is obviously extremely lacking, otherwise word would have spread like wildfire like it did after satellite radio was introduced.Guess it depends what market you're in. I know I've heard tons of industry ads promoting HD. In Tampa, WLFA 970 AM always hypes up the fact that they are simulcasting on an FM HD. Some ads carefully explain what people must do and how cheap it is to get HD channels. |
