I support all medical care that is likely to achieve a positive result. But I don’t believe in significant resources being expended in a futile attempt to prolong a terminal patient’s life, especially when it results in said patient having a painful and miserable death.Which, unfortunately, given the current state of insurance incentives, and DEA disincentives is the prognosis for many patients. |
