The Smithsonian is the national museum, and should have the Discovery. They could have sent the Enterprise anywhere after the Smithsonian got the Discovery. NYC is EXTREMELY lucky to get the the Enterprise even. Cities around the country with no more or less to do with the space program would have loved to have it. |
