So there exists a set of outcomes where Obama beats Romney; that, combined with the remaining 23% of the sample who were presumably undecided, shows there's insufficient evidence at whatever the level of significance was for this poll that Romney beats Obama.And that's only among self-identified independents. The overall poll result was Romney 46%, Obama 46%. |
