Music formats in general are dying out because of the outrageous licensing fees by the recording industry which don't take into account the actual profitability of individual stations. It's just getting too expensive for non-large groups and locals to "spin records" anymore. If you're a satellite download to transmitter, it's the group owner's headache. Talk is cheap. Literally. :( |
