My brother in law Dave took pictures of the celebration so I will ask him to send a picture of my pie and then I will post it in this thread. In the meantime, my pie looked like this one except I went ahead and braided the lattice crust instead to make it look fancy in case nobody liked the taste of my pie. It turns out I was worried about nothing but at the same time I am a realist and as such I cannot in good conscious or whatever that word is tell you that all of a sudden I consider myself a good cook and baker. At least I made the effort, something I was unsure of after the catastrophe of last year. |
