You worked in a subway repair shop. I doubt you had more than 10 women in direct contact over your entire 30+ year career.I've had many different jobs, and have worked with many more women than you'll probably ever know. Then there's the ones I employed, which worked out well since most programming work can just as readily be done from home as in an office. If the employer is flexible (most are NOT) about working from home, it's excellent good paying work for parents of young children. |
