You said "schemes" to make it sound wrong. Illegal. It's not.You said "fair" because that's how the NY Times teachers you to think. It's about revenue. If the cap gains goes up to 23%, the Treasury could end up with less revenue, that's not fair to people on entitlements who need that money. Would you want to raise cap gains even if it means less revenues just to be "fair"? |
