I think if you're white and been around a lot of black people, like I have, you tend to profile less. It's no big deal for me to go railfanning, or whatever reason, in a black neighborhood. But for so many in the south, multicultural communities is not what they planned when they migrated south. So they tend to be uncomfortable around them.Many figured they'd be living with senior citizens, not realizing how many blacks and Hispanics are down there. Many are moving back north to Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania or wherever they're from. No, his neighborhood did not look so nice. His parents were idiots for moving there. I don't know why northerners like it so much. |
