I think the Obama campaign lives in a cocoon where they think they can get away with anything because Obama's agenda is so important to the nation. Pure "ends justifying means" mentality. It explains why they went off on Rush Limbaugh for his Fluke comments, but felt secure in trashing conservative women. I think many are genuinely shocked that this blew up so strongly. To them, Democrats should be immune from attacks on their views of women from the right. They support all the right causes, right? |
