"On Jan. 1 of this year, it jumped from $9.92 to $10.24, apparently pushing Subway execs to revoke our county's cheap sandwich privileges."For a quarter increase, they dropped the promotion? The fact is, SF is the most expensive place in the USA to do business, and not mainly due to the minimum wage. FWIW, many chain restaurants in NYC don't participate in national promos for the same reasons. |
