We only had non-republican for two years, but over in the senate owing to senate rules, they could still kick up shit even then. Could had a budget there, but alas ... still enough GOP around to screw it all up with those filibusters.Hopefully this time around, the senate can be 70/30 and we can get some stuff done. Then again, it's 2012 and so maybe Alex Jones will introduce us to our reptilian overlords. :) |
