When will labor (of which I am a part) realize that Obama is not on our side, except for the manpower labor puts in on behalf of the donkeys. And that goes the larger Democratic party. TWU 100 may be in favor of the Democrats now because they haven't suffered layoffs or givebacks ... yet.Democrat Governor Cuomo has just balanced his budget on the backs of present and future state employees. New Democrat Suffolk County Executive Bellone has already overseen the layoff of dozens of civil servants, and now threatens 600 more. This after the unions had two lag payrolls, givebacks on medical and pensions since 2008. With friends like that... |
