I'm not confusing a funeral director wuith an ME, but funeral directoirs deal with postmortem bruising as part of their daily, professional work. In fact, one of their jobs is to paint over such injuries for open-casket presentation. The funeral director doesn't need to be a pathologist to see, and become familiar with, signs of postmortem bruising as part of his job. |
