No you don't want strong Dictators at all.. because it breeds hate... look up the Shah of Iran. That was a suppressive dictator that the US supported. Look what we're dealing with now... so your theory is completely wrong. Had we fostered good relations with Iran, and respected their people, the revolution would've never happened. As long as the US supports people like Mubarek the people will hate us because the US says one thing (freedom) then supports this. The hypocrisy will backfire and only feed Islamists and Terrorists. |
