In general, while I am not a fan of porn at this point in my life, I would not outlaw it except in certain very narrow circumstances. There is a large segment of the population that would not be adversely affected by porn but there are those who could conceivably see porn such as in the example that I mentioned and suddenly have to act on the idea portrayed. Many years ago I was acquainted with 3 people in the business end of the industry. For the reason stated, they would never make a film that depicted teen girls even if the actress was in her 20s. They also stayed away from images of school uniforms or story lines that involved teacher-student or incest. |
