No, they don't buy time on RW talk because it has no audience.

They have a very large audience. In your home market it's #1 or #2 overall listenership. Around America, real American talk is extremely popular, beating most other formats. And I can back this statement up.


They didn't seem to have a problem with it before last year.

Yes they have. But things got worse when Obama became president because it magnified the race issue.


It attracted listeners for better or worse. It doesn't anymore.

Real American talk is seasonal. Ratings are high during election season. They drop in off season. Even a drop for Rush and Hannity still lands them well ahead of Sharpton or most radio formats.

For whatever the motivations of listeners are, they're checking out Rev Sharpton more and more.

There is no proof of that. And the point I'm making is that he's controversial like Hannity and Rush and should not get ad dollars from McDonald's. But we all know why he does. He's a black activist and companies are making a statement when they give him money.
