Al Sharpton's show has a growing audience.Where did you hear that? The comments section of a blog? Truth is, he's on a station that pulls a 0.4 rating in the NY market. LNA's advertise on Sharpton to pay tribute because he's an influential black activist who can cause them trouble. If there was consistency, they would not advertise on his show because he is controversial. Fact is the conservatives are losing audience in droves. The latest figures are rumored to be (Arbitron does NOT publish their stats) headed towards 6 figures for Lardmouth, and that's the biggest draw. Who said that? "Mike" in the comments section? Conservative radio ranks high in just about every key market in America but Philly and Boston. In LA it's #1 or #2. In omnicultural NY it does well. "The left" doesn't control the country, But they have the power and influence to scare McDonald's and other LNA's away from Rush, while they flock to filth like Al Sharpton. Leftism clearly has an edge. |
