The expense bar had previously been set at $5,000.Either your course instructor was wrong or you misunderstood. The 1990 ADA allows small businesses to take a tax credit of 50 percent of the cost, up to $5,000, of certain accommodations. All businesses are allowed a tax credit of up to $15,000 to cover the full cost of removing certain architectural barriers. |
