Actually, despite all of the "expert" testimony to the contrary, posted here, any time you put either a natural or synthetic hormone into your body, it does have an affect on the body as a whole. The link I provided just discussed the effects some specific hormones have on some cancer rates but the fact that women gain weight, and have increased production of hair as well as other side effects, are a pretty good indication that they should not be dispensed over the counter. Perhaps the OTC advocate would also advocate the sale over the counter of HGH or even prednisone. We could use a leap in the suicide rate in this country. |
