And what would stop someone from getting one prescription at CVS, and filling another at Walgreens. It's not up to the pharmacist either.Nothing, but it's very unwise, though unfortunately encouraged by modern day health insurance, where you get your long term stuff by mail and only your short term stuff from the local pharmacy. One of the biggest causes of medical problems, especially for older people, is conflicting medicines. |
