Fortunately there are banks where you don't have to go through all that, and they exchange the nuisance change for bills free of charge (if you have an account there, even a small token account). All you do is throw the loose change from whatever container you have it in, into the machine which counts it, you get a stub, and you go to the teller to get real, usable paper money back. TD Bank is one, Teachers is another. |
